This title uses sans serif font and clear, quality photography to appeal to the target audience. As the topic is food and health, a bright, varied colour scheme is utilised but retains an factual feel with plenty of white space and a bold title. As it is a reference book and will be used time and time again, the gloss coating on the interior pages means it will withstand constant use.

Quality photography is used throughout, as a cookery book would, to represent to factual nature. It is clearly a modern book for this reason as it follows on from food photography trends, aerial views of food laid out and scattered around. The colours are bright and vivid which draw the eye in, and the title uses colours in the photography to tie in with the theme.  Title pages are double page spreads of high quality photography which makes for a beautiful coffee table book.

The wording of the title is interesting, as this book could have been intended as an educational book, but wording it as a bible rather than a guide or dictionary draws in consumers who would buy it as a display book rather than for merely educational purposes. It is a larger than normal size to allow for a lot of information to be included yet still readable. As the book is quite fact-heavy but minimal, it utilises interior flaps to add further information to the cover.
